Certified Tagalog marriage certificate translation services
A Tagalog marriage certificate is often the document that proves a spousal claim. Native translators deliver a certified translation accepted by USCIS and courts, in 48 hours at $24.10 per page.

When the office that receives your certificate has one strict rule
You have your Tagalog marriage certificate in hand. The office that will receive it, a visa unit, a court, a university, or a registrar, will not read it as it is. They need an English version they can trust, and they need proof that the translation is complete and accurate. If the translation does not match the rule that office follows, the document comes back. The wedding plan, the visa, the school enrollment, or the business filing waits with it.
Most rejections do not happen because the translation is wrong. They happen because the certification does not match what the receiving office asked for. A missing signed statement, a translator the office does not recognize, or a name that does not line up across documents is enough to stop the file. The fix is to build the translation to the exact rule of the office that will receive it, from the start.
This is exactly what certified Tagalog marriage certificate translation services are for. ABC Translations provides certified Tagalog marriage certificate translation by expert native-speaking translators. Each translation is built to the stated requirement of the receiving authority and comes with a signed certification statement. Pricing is starting at $24.10 per page, delivery is within 48 hours, and we work across 120+ languages. Our work is accepted by schools, businesses, and government offices for official use.
What official authorities require from a marriage certificate translation
Different offices state different rules. The safe approach is to read the rule for your destination and meet it on the first try. The requirements below come straight from each authority.
For immigration filings in the United States, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) states: "Any document containing foreign language submitted to USCIS shall be accompanied by a full English language translation which the translator has certified as complete and accurate, and by the translator's certification that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English." (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)). Every certified Tagalog marriage certificate translation we deliver includes this signed certification.
For applications to Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) states: "If your documents are not in English or French, you must send a translation from a certified translator with your application." (IRCC Help Centre - Applying - General).
For documents used in the United Kingdom, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) says a certified translation must confirm "that it's a 'true and accurate translation of the original document', the date of the translation, their full name and contact details" (GOV.UK 'Certifying a document' - 'Certifying a translation' section). Our certification statement carries each of these details.
For use in Australia, Department of Home Affairs (Australia) states: "Translations in Australia must be performed by a translator who is accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI)." (Australian Government document translation policy administered by the Department of Home Affairs). Tell us your destination is Australia and we will match this requirement.

How the translation is built and returned
A native-speaking Tagalog translator handles your marriage certificate. The translation reflects every name, date, place, and official stamp on the original, so the details line up with your other documents. Place names and personal names are kept consistent across the file.
When the translation is complete, we add a signed certification statement that the translation is complete and accurate. You receive the certified translation within 48 hours of your order. If the receiving office has a specific instruction, tell us before we begin and we will build the translation to that instruction.
Ordering is done online and your documents are kept secure. Pricing is clear before you order: $24.10 per page. We translate across 120+ languages, so related documents in the same case can be handled together.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wondering how Tagalog translation works at ABC? This section covers the steps we follow, what it costs, how fast it ships, where your document will be honored, the notarization routes you can choose, and how the finished file reaches you.
Can you translate a marriage certificate issued by the PSA, or only the older NSO version?
We translate both. That includes recent certificates issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA, established 2013) and older certificates issued by the former National Statistics Office (NSO).
Whether yours is a current PSA security-paper copy or an older NSO version, we handle the layout, terminology, and seals for each one.
My Tagalog marriage certificate already has some English on it. Do you still translate the whole thing?
Yes. Many Philippine civil documents carry both Tagalog and English text. We translate the entire certificate and keep the original layout, showing both languages exactly as they appear, so the translation is complete and meets certification requirements rather than leaving gaps.
Do I need to mail my original PSA marriage certificate, or can I upload a copy?
A clear photo or scan is enough. We do not need your original certificate. Just make sure every line is readable and the PSA or NSO security features are visible in the image you upload through our secure portal.
Can I use this certified Tagalog marriage certificate translation for an I-130 family petition?
Yes. The certification we provide is the signed statement of completeness and accuracy that family-based filings such as Form I-130, I-485, and consular processing require for foreign-language documents. For United States immigration filings, U.S.
Can I use this translation for consular processing at the U.S. Embassy in Manila?
Yes. Our certified marriage certificate translations are used for consular processing at U.S. embassies and consulates, including Manila. The signed certification matches what is asked for on immigrant visa applications.
Can I translate my own Tagalog marriage certificate to save the fee?
Many authorities do not accept a translation done by the applicant. For its services, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) requires that translations "be prepared by a government official (for example, a Consular Officer), medical school official (for example, a Dean or Registrar), or a professional translation service. ... Additionally, applicants for ECFMG services are not permitted to translate their own documents." (ECFMG 2026 Information Booklet, English Translations section). A certified translation from a professional service avoids that problem.
Do I need an apostille on my marriage certificate as well as a translation?
An apostille and a translation are two different things. An apostille verifies the origin of the public document for use in another country that is part of the Hague Apostille Convention. Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) states: "The purpose of the Convention is to abolish the traditional requirement of legalisation, replacing the often long and costly legalisation process with the issuance of a single Apostille certificate by a Competent Authority in the place where the document originates." (Hague Apostille Convention (HCCH Convention of 5 October 1961) - Apostille Section). The apostille comes from a Competent Authority, not a translation service. We provide the certified translation; obtain the apostille separately if the receiving office requires one.
