Your turnaround estimate covers the time from when we check your order and assign a translator to when your translation is ready for review. You see the estimate at checkout, set by your document’s word count and the service level you select.
A few things shape it:
Because real linguists handle every order, we give estimates rather than fixed deadlines, and those estimates prove accurate 98% of the time, often with delivery ahead of schedule. Approval, notarization, apostille, and shipping are added on top of the translation estimate. On a deadline? Expedited turnaround is available for certified and standard work.

We price professional standard translations by the word and certified translations by the page. Each certified page covers up to 250 words, with a small overflow allowance before the count rolls into a new page. For example, a 500-word document works out to 2 certified pages.
Two things worth knowing:
Hard-to-read scans, spreadsheets, and slide decks may need manual review to confirm the figure. Send those over and a team member will settle the count for you.
Want a person to confirm your count? Request a quote.
Request a quote when a document is tough to scan, combines several languages, comes with particular instructions, or our automatic counter cannot price it. Requesting one is free.
