Set Up and Run Your ABC Translations Account
Create and manage your account
Guests can order or ask for a quote without signing up, but an account makes the whole process smoother, particularly if you send documents often or expect to come back. Registering also unlocks a handful of extras:
- One running record of every order and quote you've placed
- Fast lookups for earlier files, invoices, and progress notes
- Speedier checkout and quotes, since your details are already on file
- Cards and delivery addresses you've chosen to store
- Account protection, including a second login step
- The choice to attach a business account for team use
Personal and Business Accounts
A regular ABC Translations account is built around one person. With it, you handle your own orders, quotes, saved cards, addresses, profile, password, email choices, and second-step login.
A business account suits teams that need to work from the same place. It brings shared visibility into quotes and orders, member invitations, role-based permission levels, joint billing tools, reporting, and optional extras you can turn on, among them API access, white label services, and invoicing.
Already registered? You can attach a business from . More on that is covered in .
How to Create a New Account
There are two ways to open an ABC Translations account: set one up as you send a new request, or head straight to the sign-up page. As soon as it's ready, a confirmation email lands in your inbox, and you can sign in whenever you like to look after your translations and account details.
- Choose “Create an account” and pick a password to finish registering.
- Head to and register on the spot.
Logging In to Your Account
Sign in by going to and typing your email and password. Once you're in, you land on your dashboard, the place to track and handle orders, quotes, invoices, and settings.
Forgot your password? Use "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page, then follow the reset steps. A reset link goes out by email, so check your junk or spam folder if it is slow to arrive. Should sign-in still fail, can lend a hand.
Managing Your Account Information
Your personal details are editable whenever you want from your account settings. Accurate current details matter because order and quote updates are sent through them. Pick an email you open often, and think about listing a phone number too, in case email ever fails to reach you.
Your account information includes:
- Phone number (optional)
- Updating your password while signed in
Managing Account Settings
A few optional controls let you shape how your account behaves and trim steps from your routine. You'll find all of them on your :
Decide whether the occasional marketing email reaches you, covering promotions, follow-ups on quotes and orders, and product news. It has no bearing on transactional messages like quote and order confirmations, which always go out.
Update your password and set up your second login step in the Security area of Account Settings.
Not yet part of a business? Account Settings offers a way to register your business and create a shared account for it.
Two-Factor Authentication
A second login step, often called 2FA, asks for one more proof of identity when you sign in. Two-factor security uses an authenticator-app code from tools including 1Password, Authy, or Google Authenticator. Head into the settings for your account, scan the QR code with whichever app you prefer, and switch it on.
Once app-based 2FA is active, you'll receive recovery codes that come in handy if you're ever locked out of your authenticator app.
- Every code is good for a single use, then a fresh one takes its place.
- Save them somewhere safe by copying, printing, or downloading them.
- Generate a new batch whenever you want, which retires all the previous codes.
Accessing Your Orders
Once signed in, open the of your account to oversee every translation order, finished or in progress. There you can scan your whole order history, run a search, filter, sort, and read each order's status in a glance.
Open any single order and you can:
- Check where it stands and how it has progressed
- Download both draft and final translation files
- Pull up invoices and payment receipts
- Sign off on files that are awaiting your okay before they're finalized
- Ask for revisions or keep an eye on ones underway
- Share a review after the order wraps up
Accessing Your Quotes
Once signed in, open the of your account to look over and handle every quote request. Quote history works like order history: browse, sort, filter, search, and see each quote's status at a glance.
Open any single quote and you can:
- Save the quote as a PDF
- Switch optional add-on services on or off
- Send a payment link to someone else
- Pay the quote to turn it into an order
Accessing Your Invoices
The opens up for business admins once invoicing is switched on for the business account. Business customers who want invoicing can turn it on from Business Settings or read more on the .
Open any single invoice and you can:
- Download the invoice copy
- Pay online with a credit card, PayPal, or Venmo
- Get directions for paying offline by ACH, wire, or check
Resetting Your Password
You can change your password at any point, signed in or not.
Head to > Change Password to set a new password right away.
Use the password reset link on the .
As soon as you send the forgot password form, a reset email goes out to the address you typed. Inside is a secure link that proves you own the account. Follow it, and you can choose a new password and sign in.
No message after a few minutes? Check your junk or spam folder. Still nothing? Resubmit the form or contact us for help.
Switching from Guest to Registered Account
Have you submitted a quote request or placed an order before as a guest? You can still open a full account with that same email. Once it's live, your earlier activity links up on its own, so your order and quote history is right there.
To wrap up , you have to confirm that the email tied to the guest submission belongs to you. Register with the email tied to guest activity, and an activation code will be sent there. That code lasts 15 minutes and has to go on the very form where you started registering. Enter it, and you'll then create a password and switch on your account.
You can also use the Forgot password option. The password reset flow works even if no password was set before, because it verifies your email and creates account access.
Managing Saved Payment Methods
To make checkout faster and simpler, you can securely store Venmo accounts, PayPal accounts, or credit and debit cards. A secure payment processor handles all of that data; ABC Translations never holds your card numbers itself.
Head to to manage the payment methods you have saved. From there, you can:
- Add a Venmo account, PayPal account, or another credit card
- Set a default that's picked automatically when you check out
- Update the expiration date on cards you've saved
- Remove any saved payment method whenever you like
Managing Shipping Addresses
You only need a shipping address when a printed copy of your translation has to be mailed to you. To cut down on typing during later quotes or checkouts, keep your shipping addresses under .
From there, you can:
- Add new shipping addresses
- Mark a default that fills in automatically at checkout
- Change or remove addresses you've already saved
Each address is checked against the USPS addressing database, and when it helps, we'll propose a tidied-up format so delivery goes through. The carrier depends on the destination: FedEx for domestic street addresses, DHL Express for everywhere else, and USPS for Canada, P.O. boxes, and military addresses. Sticking to USPS formatting cuts down on delivery mix-ups and hold-ups.
Deleting Your Account
To close your account for good, . We'll check the request with you and erase your personal data wherever the law allows.
For legal, financial reporting, and accounting reasons, a few records may remain on file, such as invoice records, payment history, and order metadata.
Closing the account also removes every file tied to your quotes and orders. Prefer to keep the account but clear out the files? You can ask for that on its own, and we're glad to do it unless we're required to hold onto the files for compliance.
