What Happens After You Place a Translation Order

How the process works

Upload your files right on our site. We take every common digital format, whether that is a photo, a scan, a PDF, or a Word file. If you would rather send paper, you can mail the originals to us instead. Each upload is encrypted on the way in and stays encrypted on our servers, so your information remains private and protected.

Whatever shows up on the page gets translated, and that includes seals, signatures, and anything written by hand. Want to keep a detail off the translation? Black it out before you send the file.

Determine Word Count

What you pay depends on the service, and we measure it either by the word or by the page:

Charged by the page, with each page holding up to 250 words.

Not sure how many words you have? There is no need to count them yourself. The moment you reach checkout, our system tallies them for you and displays exactly what it picked up. Think the number looks off? Flag it, and a member of our team will go through your files by hand to verify the count, the price, and how long the work will take.

Place Your Order

Order straight from a quote, or begin fresh on our site. From there, the flow looks like this:

1. Sign in, or keep going as a guest.
2. Pick the kind of translation you need and fill in the details about your document.
3. Add any extras you want, such as faster delivery or notarization.
4. Put in your payment details, jot down anything your translator should know, and send the order through.

The moment you submit, we drop you onto your order page, where you can follow the work, grab your files, ask for changes, and leave a review.

Translation Begins

From there, our support team gets to work and will:

• Check that every file is clear enough to read
• Verify the word and page totals
• Read through any notes you left

Once that check is done, we hand your order to a translator who is right for the job. That hand-off is the point where the turnaround clock you see on your order page starts ticking. Should something need to be sorted out first, we will pause the order and reach out by email, so the faster you reply, the less time the work sits idle.

Review and Approve

As soon as your translation is finished, an email lands in your inbox. At that point you can:

• Approve the translation when sign-off is needed
• Ask for changes, and your translator will look them over and revise where it makes sense

Because reshipping a printed order is expensive, any certified translation that ships to you waits on your go-ahead before we lock it in and put it in the mail.

Order Completion

After it is locked in, a final email lets you know the order is done. Your files are right there on your order page, ready to download. Ordered a printed copy too? We will email a tracking number the day it goes out.

Order Status Definitions

As work progresses, your order passes through a series of statuses. Here is what each one is telling you:

Your order is in and we are looking over the files. A translator will be assigned soon, and you will hear from us once the work gets going.

A translator now has your order and is actively working on it.

The draft is waiting for you to look at. Approve it as is, or ask for revisions before anything is finalized.

We are making the changes you asked for. Expect a note from us the moment the updated files are ready.

You have signed off and confirmed it all looks right. The order is now sealed and headed for delivery.

Someone on our team is giving the order a last look before it goes out, which may mean checking the formatting or running a quality pass.

We are putting together your final files and any extras, which can mean creating certified coversheets, handling notarization, or getting shipping ready.

Everything is finished. Head to your order page to download the files and leave a review.
