Requesting a Translation Quote
How to request a quote
Plenty of people order straight from our site without a second thought. A quote is the smarter route when your files are hard to read, mix more than one language, or our system cannot count them on its own. It also helps when you have particular instructions, are not quite ready to buy, want to merge or break apart content across several files, need more than one target language, or have to satisfy a rule set by an outside office.
How the Quote Process Works
- Start by sending us your files. The upload tool accepts the formats people use most, such as PDFs, Word documents, photos, and similar files.
- Tell us the language your document is in and the language you want it in, then pick the service that fits, whether that is certified, standard, or notarized. Not sure which one? Say so in the notes, and we will sort it out with you before any work starts.
- Pick any extras you want, like a rush timeline, notarization, or a printed copy in the mail. Each one is spelled out plainly, and you can change your mind on them later.
- Leave a note about anything the team or translator should keep in mind. People often flag a preferred spelling, how to treat names or handwriting, how documents should be grouped, or how the certification should be laid out.
- Asking for a quote costs nothing. Once you send it, a confirmation email lands in your inbox and our team gets started on the review right away.
- In roughly an hour, we email you a private link to your quote. It lays out the price line by line, gives an expected timeline, and lets you tweak the request or go ahead and pay.
What to Include With Your Quote Request
The more we have at the start, the faster and more exactly we can read your files and price them, with no back and forth to slow you down. Run through this short list before you hit send:
- Check that each page shows in full, with nothing cropped, shadowed, or out of focus. A blurry scan or photo can hold up your quote or push us to ask for a cleaner copy.
- Uploading a locked PDF prompts the system to request the password before we review and price the file.
- Tell us if each file needs its own Certificate of Translation, if you prefer a spelling or layout, or if delivery has special requirements. Spelling these out helps us quote it right and deliver it right the first time.
- Sending several documents? Lay them out so it is obvious which translations should stand alone and which belong together. That way the translator hands back exactly the arrangement you pictured, whether that is one file each or a single combined piece.
- Got parts of a page that should stay in the original language? Cut or cover them before you upload, or call them out in the notes. This keeps things clear and makes sure you only pay to translate what you truly need.
How to Access and Convert Your Quote
After the team finishes its review, an email arrives with a private link to the quote we built for you. On that page you are free to:
- Look over the quoted price and the timeline we expect
- Turn extras on or off, such as notarization or a rush delivery
- Pay to move the quote into a live order
- Save a PDF of the quote for your own files
- Send someone else a secure payment link when that is simpler.
- A quote holds good for at least 30 days. If yours runs past that, reaching out to support is all it takes to bring it back.

Need to Make a Change?
A few tweaks, like turning extra services on or off, you can handle right on the quote page. For anything bigger, such as swapping in new files, changing the languages, or moving to a different translation type, reply to the quote email and let us know. We will rework the quote and send the new version back, usually inside an hour.
