What You Get with Your Translation Order
What you receive
A certified translation is built for official use, so it carries everything that bodies such as USCIS, courts, and universities expect to see. We lay out each translation to follow the original as closely as we reasonably can, though it is not meant to be an exact visual copy. What matters is an accurate, easy-to-read translation backed by valid certification. Your order arrives with a signed Certificate of Accuracy and secure digital delivery, and you can also add notarization or shipped hard copies when your situation calls for them.
- A professionally translated document
- A signed Certificate of Accuracy, bearing the signature of a company representative
- Digital delivery via a secure download link
- Formatting kept as close to the source as our service allows
- Optional add-ons such as notarization and hard copies, should you select them at checkout
Standard Translation Deliverables
A professional translation fits personal reading, day-to-day business needs, or casual messages. The aim is an accurate rendering of the text itself, without copying the layout of the original or adding any certification. Because they carry no notarization and no signed certificate, these translations are not accepted where an official version is required, such as immigration or legal matters.
- Simplified formatting that puts the content first rather than the layout
What's Not Included (Unless Selected)
The extras below apply to certified translations only, and you need to add them at checkout or when you send in your quote request. None of them come with a professional translation.
- Added only when you ask for it. Places an official notarized signature on the Certificate of Accuracy.
- Files come digitally by default. Mailed hard copies are an optional add-on.
- When an apostille is required, we provide apostille service for documents that qualify.
Revisions and Edits
When the fix you need stays inside what your order already covered, you can ask for a revision at no extra cost. We send each request back to the translator who handled your file, and they weigh it using their professional judgment. The quickest route is to file the revision right from your order status page, since requests sent by email or elsewhere can take more time to reach us.
- There is a clear mistake or something was left out
- You are clearing up a point you raised when you placed the order
- The formatting does not follow the instructions you gave
If a request adds new material or reaches beyond the original scope, an extra charge may apply. We will let you know about any change to the price or the timeline before any work begins.
Translator Signatures and Credentials
Every certified translation comes with a Certificate of Accuracy that attests the translation is both complete and faithful to the source. You can usually expect the certificate to list:
- The name of the company representative who is authorized to certify
- That representative's signature
- The date the document was certified
- The company's certification stamp
- How to reach the company
Our translators work from many different countries, so having each one sign in person simply is not workable. In their place, an appointed company representative certifies the file for them. That setup also lets us notarize the certificate when you need it, since the person certifying and the notary have to be in the same room together.
Digital vs. Physical Copies
Every order comes with digital copies by default. As soon as your files are ready, we email you a download link.
When you add hard copies to a certified translation, we mail printed copies of that certified translation to the address you give us. How soon they arrive depends on the shipping option you pick.
Turnaround Time Expectations
We set your estimated delivery date from three things: the service level you chose, the language pair, and any add-ons on the order. Your order page keeps that estimate in view so you can follow it. To learn what shifts a delivery date and how to plan around it, take a look at our article on .
